Terms of Service
By creating an account or using GridPilot you agree to these terms. GridPilot is developer-side filing preparation software — it is not a law firm, a licensed engineering firm, or a substitute for utility or ISO approval.
1. The service
GridPilot extracts data from documents you provide, validates it against ISO/RTO requirements, and generates draft interconnection request packets and related work products. Generated documents are drafts prepared from your inputs; you are responsible for reviewing them before filing.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Seats may not be shared between individuals.
3. Your content
You retain all rights to documents you upload and to the packets generated from them. You grant us the limited rights needed to process that content to provide the service. You represent that you have the right to upload the documents you provide.
4. Professional responsibility
- Generated models, drawings, and forms require validation by qualified engineers before submission; final PSLF/PSS/E validation and PE review remain your responsibility.
- GridPilot does not guarantee ISO acceptance, queue position, study outcomes, or interconnection approval.
- Requirement summaries are provided for convenience; the ISO's tariff and business practice manuals control.
5. Plans & payment
Paid plans are billed as described at purchase. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with notice effective at your next renewal.
6. Acceptable use
No unlawful use, no attempts to breach security, no reselling the service, and no uploading content you lack rights to.
7. Disclaimers & liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Faradon, Inc.'s aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the amounts you paid in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost queue positions or study deposits.
8. Termination
You may cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination you may export your data for 30 days.
9. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email and take effect 14 days after notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
